The best people are the ones that make you feel something. The ones that make you feel at home. The ones that make you feel so comfortable that you know you can tell them anything. The ones that don’t judge you and are always there no matter what. The ones that understand you and you understand them. The ones you can laugh with for hours. The best people are like masterpieces, beautiful and complex at the same time. I’m sure you thought of someone while reading this 😉
Inspiration is one of my favourite things and it’s the first things I started writing about on my blog. It’s been a while since I’ve done a traditional inspirational post where I talk to you guys and share my inspiration haha. The reason these posts aren’t consistent is because I need to feel the inspiration that I’m writing about. I need to feel it in the moment and completely want to talk about it and share it. Things like this don’t come everyday it takes time and life to bring out inspiration. I hope to always be inspired and write these posts. I feel like it helps many people including myself and it’s one of my reasons I started this blog: to inspire, help others and create a great inspiring community! Hope this helps and you enjoy ✨😉✌🏻
Thinking positive thoughts in your mind makes you happier and more optimistic! Looking at the bright side of even the worst situations can make us feel better and stay happy. I can see this is my own life. Whenever I’m in a situation that isn’t ideal if I look at the bright side or the positivity in it I stay happy and positive and am able to be productive, joyful and appreciative; when I think about how much the situation is not ideal I become less happy and more sad. It’s something so simple to change our mindset but sometimes we can get so caught up in life and not think about how our thoughts need to change. I’m a very happy and positive person so I hate when things that are outside of my control get me down. I shouldn’t let that happen and neither should you! We are in control of our happiness, we shouldn’t put our happiness in anyone’s hands but our own. Be at peace with yourself and try not to let outside forces and things you can’t control affect you. I try to live this everyday but I’ll be honest it’s hard! Haha. Just got to keep reminding yourself 😉
Think positively, be bright, be happy, be you ✨🌈
The harder aspect of yoga is keeping the inner peace, not letting negative thoughts/people/situations affect you, acceptance and letting go.
That’s the part that a lot of people don’t get to. It’s the part that forces you to dig deep into yourself and discover your true feelings. Being honest with yourself and accepting what is and what isn’t. The hardest part is letting go of everything that you need to let go of. But once you do it feels amazing.
Yoga has two parts: yin and yang just like everything in life to have balance you need to have a little bit of everything.
The yin is the relaxing, releasing stretches that are held anywhere from 3 to 20 minutes. You release all your muscles and really feel the pose. This releases so much tension and is really relaxing.
The yang is the active, strengthening part of yoga that needs you to hold yourself up and be strong in the pose.
Everything in life has a little bit of everything. In every good thing there’s a little bit of bad and in every bad thing there’s a little bit of good. In yoga where there’s a activity there’s relaxation and where there’s relaxation there’s activity. We need these opposites to have balance.
Yoga is a lifestyle and a journey. Have an intention for every practice. What you do on the mat will reflect in your life.
Aloe vera, inspirational calendars and a Himalayan salt lamp are all things I think everyone should have in their room. It’s so healthy to wake up and sleep with these 3 things added to your sanctuary.
Aloe Vera 💖
✨Aloe vera plants are so beneficial for the health! I have one in my room and I think you all should get one too 😊✌🏻💚
Purifies the air (absorbs carbon dioxide, releases oxygen)
Great for the skin. It moisturizers and refreshes the skin and is great to help with acne.
Eating/drinking aloe vera is very beneficial for your body. It helps with lots of health issues like arthritis, hair loss, dandruff, kidney stones etc…
✨Himalayan salt lamp 💖
Not only is this beautiful but it has a lot of health benefits. I love it so much! It is such a pretty addition to your room 😊 You can keep it on all day and night.
🌟This salt lamp emits negative salt ions when heated that help blood flow, improve sleep, increase levels of seratonin in the brain and reduces allergy and asthma symptoms. The heat comes from the bulb inside the salt. It also neutralizes electromagnetic radiation that comes from all the electronics we use, purifies the air, improves breathing, reduces stress and improves mood. Haha crazy how all these benefits come from the negative ions the salt releases when heated! It’s amazing ✨💕
Inspirational Calendar 💖
I love my inspirational calendar. Reading the monthly quote is a good way to start the month 😊 It’s nice to look at everyday and keeps you inspired. The pictures are very relaxing too. Mine is a zen calendar. Here is this months picture and quote. Let me know if you want me to share it every month.
