With summer coming to an end and fall around the corner, it is time to transition our outfits from summer to fall. Every year, I find the transition between seasons a little tricky, but after years of trying to find the perfect transitional outfits to easily go from summer to fall while always knowing what to wear, I finally found my go-to outfit formulas I can always count on even when I have no idea what to wear. You know those days it’s not as hot anymore but not so cold and you don’t know what to wear? Well I have gone through so many of those days and was determined to find outfit “formulas” that I can go back to. Today, I think I’ve figured out the cutest outfits to have on repeat to transition into fall and I’m ready to share them with you all!
So don’t the end of summer get you down, pre-fall outfits are some of the cutest! Now let’s transition into fall together.
Easy and Cute Pre-Fall Outfit Formulas
Outfit Formula 1: Flare/boot cut jeans with a girly short sleeve or sweater with ballet flats or sling backs

Outfit Formula 2: White jeans with a cozy sweater or vest, with a quilted purse and ballet flats

I know for myself, I find fall outfits take more effort to put together, so having go-to outfit formulas in mind makes it easier to get ready quickly. Just stick to these staples and you will have a variety of outfits on rotation to transition into fall. What’s also great about this is that you can wear all these pieces into the fall and winter too.

P.S. Some of the best outfits are created by reinventing what we already have 🙂 So, before you go shopping, check out your closet! You might just re-discover something beautiful you forgot about. Also, you can change pieces in these outfits as needed. The shoes and accessories can be changed for any style you prefer. For example, ballet flats could be changed for sneakers or booties and vice-versa. For the purses, any purse you have will do.
