Full Glam Makeup Ideas Perfect For Any Occassion
If there’s one makeup look every beauty lover needs in their rotation, it’s a full glam look. Minimal makeup is cute and perfect for everyday, but full glam? That’s perfect for any event or occassion. Full glam is bold, defined, sculpted, glowing, and a little extra — in the best way. Whether you’re going to an event, a photoshoot, a fancy dinner or you just want to feel fancy, here are full glam makeup ideas that will make you look like you walked out of a magazine.
First, we will start with the different steps to a full glam look.
1. Foundation
The key to any glam look is airbrushed, flawlaess skin. This can be achieved with a good foundation and my favourite powder, that makes any foundation look flawless and perfect, is the CHARLOTTE tILBURY powdeer.Instead of dewy, go matte-but-velvety. These foundations are clean and score well on the Yuka app. They also leave a beautiful finish. Top any of them with the Charlotte Tilbury powder, to create the most perfect flawless skin.
2. Contour
Full glam is all about structure. Opt for a cream contour to sculpt your cheekbones, forehead, and jawline. Set it with a powder bronzer for a locked-in, photo-ready finish.
Pro tip: Reverse contouring (using a lighter powder under the cheek contour) instantly sharpens the face like a filter.
3. Bronzer
Bronzer warms up any look and adds to the full glam. There many options from liquid, powder to stick bronzer. Add a bronzey lip liner, and eyeshadow look to match. This is the easiest full glam — bronzey shades flatter everyone. Build dark brown on the outer corner, metallic bronze on the lid, and smoked-out eyeliner. Pair with a nude/brown lip liner and nude gloss.
4. Blush
Blush adds a doll-like, perfected finish to any full glam makeup look. With just a touch of color, it lifts the face, brightens the complexion, and brings that soft, angelic glow that ties the entire look together. Whether you prefer soft pinks, warm peaches, or bold rosy tones, the right shade of blush enhances your features and gives your glam a youthful, radiant look. You can choose from liquid or powder. I linked some below.
5. Sparkly Eyeshadow
This is the definition of glam. Take a neutral brown crease, carve the lid with concealer, and pack on a shimmery or metallic shadow. Gold, champagne, rose gold, or even silver can transform the eye. Finish it with winged liner and big lashes for the drama. There are so many palettes to choose from. All of these linked below are beautiful and have amazing glitter shades. Pick the one that has the most shades you like.
6. Highlight
Don’t forget your highlight! This is a full glam makeup look so you can go all out and shine as bright as you want!
- top of cheekbones
- bridge + tip of nose
- brow bone
- inner corners
The goal is glassy, radiant, spotlight sparkle.
Tip: you can also use any white, champagne, soft shimmery shade in any of your eyeshadow palettes as a highlighter.
7. Lips
Full glam almost always includes lip definition. Use a darker liner than your lipstick/lipgloss colour to define the lips, slightly overline your natural shape to add definition, and fill the center with a lighter lipstick or gloss. This creates the perfect full glam pout.
