Hi everyone!
So, I know Halloween is in a week so let’s get into this tutorial quickly so you can enjoy it before the end of the season 🙂

My pumpkin is ceramic and was originally white haha. I got it from Michael Craft Store and I painted it to make it my own. It also lights up. You can do this with any pumpkin: real or fake.
If you are using a real pumpkin you can either…
Carve “Spooky” and the stars and moons (or any other design you want)
or draw it on
and if it’s a fake pumpkin that is not this ceramic one then I suggest drawing on “Spooky” and the stars and moons or any other design you would rather put.

Tutorial
I first started out with going to Michaels where I saw this pumpkin and got really inspired to do this 🙂
I picked up pink acrylic paint and a gold sharpie that can be used on lots of different materials

You Will Need
Paint
Sharpie
Paint brushes
Garbage bag to keep your workspace clean

I first started with colouring in the word “Spooky” and all the stars in moon with my gold sharpie
Then I painted the whole pumpkin pink while being careful around the designs
I then went in with a smaller paint brush to paint around the words and stars and moons
and finally, I touched up “Spooky” and the stars and moons with a second layer of gold sharpie to perfect it. I also added polka dots to the stem 🙂
I let it dry and voila! It’s very easy to do

Now, if you are carving a real pumpkin, do the same steps but before starting carve out your designs and outline them with your sharpie

Hope you enjoyed! Would you create a pumpkin like this?
Have a safe and fun Halloween!
Love always,
Annabel xoxo
